Slightly sewn uneven as it is not a straight line. I like the fabric as the material for a checkbook cover. I am old school who continues to write a personal check for payments and frequently open/close my checkbook cover. The wear and tear from the frequent open/close of my previous checkbook cover cracked the spine. A fabric checkbook cover would not crack the spine which is why I choose fabric material. I LOVE the pink colored daisies! Pink floral fabric checkbook cover is very difficult to find.
